WORKKS. is an architecture studio based in Cumbria and London, established by Harry Kay in summer 2018.
Since then we have completed and continue to work on projects around the UK, including the heritage and environmental lead refurbishment of a large Victorian villa in London fields, the extension of a Victorian hunting lodge in the Lake District National Park, the extension and refurbishment of a fire damaged farm house in Cambridgeshire and the fit out of a makers’ space and shop in Windermere.
As well as architecture we also work across film production, furniture design, and installation art.
Harry graduated with first class honours from the University of Nottingham, and the Architectural Association with the prestigious Honours award. Following this he completed his professional qualifications at The Bartlett, University College London. Following university he went on to working in stage set and installation design for United Visual Artists, working for the Paris Opera and The Armoury New York. Moving back to architecture Harry worked for a number of years on cultural projects in the Czech Republic and London for Wright and Wright Architects.
